We will give you an Intake interview where will talk to you about MEND and your expectations for MEND. The Intake interview will take about 90 minutes.

MEND is a Men’s Behaviour Change Group. There are only six organisations in NSW accredited by the NSW government to run Men’s Behaviour Change Groups, and we are one of them.
MEND supports men to take responsibility for, and change their behaviour. Each week the two facilitators take the group through a different topic.
No. MEND is a Men’s Behaviour Change Program that helps men to stop their use of violence and abusive behaviour. Understanding and dealing with anger is a component of MEND. However changing abusive behaviour is about a lot more than managing anger.
There is a one-off cost of $40 for the Intake interview, and a weekly charge of $10 for each MEND session you attend.
To participate in MEND every men must provide us with contact details of his partner. Your partner will be provided with support by our Women’s Support officer. She will talk to your partner about the MEND program and its purpose and your partner will be offered help and advice.
MEND takes place on Monday nights from 6.30 – 9.00.
